Monika is now in charge of the volunteer program, she is the one who is going permanently to the projects and look for new ones. She coordinates host families, accommodation and Spanish lessons for volunteers. She gives support to volunteers in any circumstance. Monika is from Colombia and she has studied Hotel Administration and Spanish at the Catholic University. She is also coordinating other volunteer programs with partner organizations.

Carolina holds a degree in Tourism Engineering from the University of Cuenca. Currently, coordinating the activities of our volunteers in Cuenca; Carolina organizes accommodation, is responsible for volunteer projects and orientation and oversees monitoring of all existing projects. Carolina is always on hand to provide support and offer advice to volunteers. |

Kjetil Haugan is the owner of the Simón Bolívar Spanish School. He is a Norwegian citizen who has lived in Ecuador since 1994. Kjetil has a Graduate degree in Organization Development from England and a undergraduate degree in Management from Norway.
Kjetil worked as the director of the Olympic Villages during the Lillehammer (Norway) 1994 and the Atlanta (USA) 1996 Olympic Games. He speaks Spanish, English and the Scandinavian languages.

Ana Mercedes is our volunteer coordinator in Quito. She is in charge to coordinate accommodations, volunteer projects and Spanish lessons for volunteers coming from partner organizations from other countries. She always helps the volunteers in what they need before and during the volunteer program.
She is from Ecuador and she has a graduate degree in Management in Hotels and tourism at the Universidad de las Americas. |

Pamela will answer your e-mails and give you information if you contact us through the web page www.ecuadorvolunteers.org She coordinates Volunteer placement, Spanish lessons and accommodation for you and will give you support before and during your volunteer program in Ecuador. She has studied Communication and Art History in Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
She has worked in the water protection museum in Quito. She speaks English in addition to Spanish, her mother language. |

Germán has a degree as Spanish and English language teacher. He has twelve years experience as Spanish teacher in Ecuador and in Germany. He has lived eight years in Germany and he also speaks German language.
He is the person who gives support in the following areas: orientation, inductions, monitoring and general information for the volunteers.

Jorge has a degree in Tourism and English. He has five years experience as a spanish teacher, three of them at Simon Bolivar Spanish School. Nowadays he is not teaching spanish anymore, but is in charge of monitoring the volunteers in the place where they are working. He also will give you general support such as: orientation, induction, and migration arrangements.
